Family, friends and team members were present today to formally recognize and congratulate Jeremy Guardia, recipient of the Wilbur Allain Memorial Stellar Award.

Jeremy, IMC Plant Operations Supervisor, was nominated by his peers for his dedication to Iberia Medical Center, his remarkable work ethic and leadership skills, his care and compassion for others and his ability to lead the charge during challenging times. He consistently demonstrates a selfless dedication to ensuring that Iberia Medical Center remains operational and available to the community at all times.

The Wilbur Allain Memorial Stellar Award is presented to an Iberia Medical Center team member who exemplifies exceptional dedication to serving others, leadership and performance excellence.

The award is named after Wilbur Louis Allain, Sr., one of the charter members of the Iberia Parish Hospital Service District No. 1 Board of Commissioners in 1951.  Mr. Allain’s legacy of serving others and love of community lives on though the Stellar Award, presented quarterly at Iberia Medical Center.
